What is sardar azmoun?

Sardar Azmoun is a professional Iranian football player who currently plays as a forward for the Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg. He was born on January 1, 1995, in Gonbad-e Kavus, Iran. Azmoun began his football career at a young age and played for several clubs in Iran before his talents were noticed by Russian club FC Rostov.

He made his professional debut for FC Rostov in 2013 and quickly established himself as one of the best young players in the Russian league. In 2017, he moved to Rubin Kazan before joining Zenit St. Petersburg in 2019.

Azmoun has also represented the Iranian national team since 2014 and has scored many important goals for them in international competitions. He is often referred to as the "Iranian Messi" due to his impressive dribbling skills and ability to score goals.

He has won several individual awards, including the Iranian Footballer of the Year, and has helped Zenit St. Petersburg win the Russian Premier League in 2019-20 and the Russian Super Cup in 2020.
